Pat McCafferty

On March 9th 2018, Pat McCafferty was appointed interim company chair by independent governance advisor, Mark Jones AM, KPMG.
Pat is presently the Managing Director of Yarra Valley Water and brings with him extensive experience across the water sector with various appointments covering a wide range of strategic and operational leadership positions, including planning, economic regulation, finance and customer operations.
Pat's role is to provide the TCP with leadership during the transition phase up to 30 June 2019, through; oversight of the company strategy; and managing the appointment process for the future independent chair and board of directors.
Catie Moore

Catie Moore was appointed interim director on April 26th, 2018, to assist the board with strategy and the appointment process for the future independent chair and board of directors.
Catie is an accomplished law professional and current partner at Sparke Helmore Lawyers in Melbourne. Holding partner positions across a variety of law firms in Australia, Catie brings with her a wealth of experience in providing expert legal counsel to many leading Australian corporations. Catie is an alumni of the University of Queensland, holding a Bachelor of Laws (Honours).
Ciara Sterling

Ciara Sterling was appointed interim director on April 26th, 2018, to assist the board with strategy and the appointment process for the future independent chair and board of directors.
Ciara is the current head of Community Inclusion at Yarra Valley Water. With over 15 years’ experience working across government, corporate and the community sector addressing issues around hardship and vulnerability. Through her experience, extensive network and vision for a better future for people experiencing vulnerability; Ciara has catalysed the Thriving Communities Partnership to become Australia's first national cross-sector platform for partnership.
Cynthia Gebert
Director - GAICD
Cynthia Gebert was appointed interim director on April 26th, 2018, to assist the board with strategy and the appointment process for the future independent chair and board of directors.
Cynthia is the current Victoria Energy and Water Ombudsman (EWOV). Prior to her appointment as Ombudsman, Cynthia was EWOV’s General Manager Investigations, responsible for managing all internal processes of the scheme’s dispute resolution process. Before joining EWOV in 2007, she was the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Commercial Dispute Centre. Cynthia is an alumni of Leadership Victoria's highly sought after Williamson Community Leadership Program (2011), has a Masters degree in Dispute Resolution from the University of Technology, Sydney and Bachelor degrees in law and political science from the University of Sydney.
Tim Costello

The Rev Tim Costello is well known for his tireless work with organisations that stand up for the voiceless and vulnerable. He recently stepped down from his role as CEO of World Vision Australia after 13 years, during which he made a unique contribution to the organisation and changed the lives of millions of people around the globe for the better. He has been a high-profile advocate for poverty alleviation and gambling regulation through his roles as chair of the Community Council of Australia, the Australian Churches Gambling Taskforce and the National Australia Bank’s Social Responsibility Advisory Council. The Thriving Communities Partnership is a natural fit for someone who commands the respect that Tim does across the philanthropic and not-for-profit sector.
