Teachable Moments: When's the Right Time to Talk About Money? - WIRE, 2018

This research from WIRE builds on the Australian and international body of knowledge around women, family violence and financial well-being. The recovery journeys for victim-survivors progress through multiple phases highlighted in this report as being from pre-crisis to enduring recovery. This study seeks to increase our understanding of how women victim-survivors can be best supported to gain or regain financial well-being, and examine how, when and where they want to receive financial information and support across each of these phases. Double Punishment: How People in Prison Pay Twice - FCA, 2017

This report by Financial Counselling Australia is based on the experiences of financial counsellors and other experts who work with people in prison. It explains how people often leave prison in a much worse financial position than when they entered. This is because when it comes to managing their debts, the system makes it nigh on impossible. Yet each debt that is tackled can mean one less person who is less likely to end up back in jail. Download Full Report 

Voices of Hope - VIC GOV, 2017

Commissioned by the Victorian State Government, Huddle delivers the first co-design project undertaken with victim survivors.  The Voices of Hope project explores the lived experiences of victim survivors and draws on their collective insight to give a deeper understanding of what's needed for people to have a better experience of the family violence service system and receive the support they need.  Download Report (PDF 2MB)

The Rise of Energy Poverty in Australia - KPMG, 2017

Part 1 of a three part series, this research builds on National Australia Banks (NAB) commitment and eight year partnership with CSI to understand how Australians are faring with their money.
