SAFCA is the peak body for financial counsellors in South Australia and the Northern Territory. We provide registration services, professional development opportunities and professional supervision facilitation for our 210 members in SA and NT.
Financial Counsellors assist South Australians and Northern Territorians in financial difficulty by providing information, support, and advocacy for their clients. Financial Counsellors work within the Community sector. Their services are free, independent and confidential. SAFCA provides systems advocacy on behalf of financially vulnerable people in SA and NT by consulting with government, industry and consumer groups.
Our members also assist industry by ensuring their customers have better understanding of their financial position and obligations. SAFCA is committed to working with industry for better outcomes for the people of SA and NT.
